فإنَّ الغفلة ليست مجرد نسيانٍ عابر، ولا سهوٍ مؤقّت، بل هي داءٌ روحيٌّ عميق، إذا تمكّن من قلب الإنسان أطفأ نور الفطرة، وأعمى بصيرة العقل، وأوقعه في مهاوي الضلال وهو لا يشعر.
الغفلة عن الله، عن الموت، عن الآخرة، عن المسؤولية، عن الحساب… هي حقيقةٌ مريرة، يعيشها الكثير من الناس دون أن يدركوا خطرها، حتى تصبح الغفلة لهم طريقًا مألوفًا، ويصير اليقين غريبًا، والذكر ثقيلاً على القلوب.
