رواية تحاكي واقعاً عربياً حيث تطرح من خلالها قضية مهمة في كل الثقافات والشعوب " التفكك الأسري " .كما أشارت الرواية لنهج العائلة العربية خصيصاً بشكلٍ مباشر من خلال أحداثها وإصرار الأبوين على إنجاب طفل ذكر في العائلة التي تتناول الرواية قصتها.
وتسرد الرواية قصة العائلة التي تكونت بمحض الصدفة عام ١٩٨٢ وكيف تزوجا الأبوين من تلك العائلة آنذاك وصولاً لإنهيار تلك العائلة عام ٢٠١٥ وما تبع ذلك من تشرد اخلاقي وانحطاط لأفراد تلك العائلة جراء انفصال الأب والأم عن بعضهما البعض.
الرواية كتبت في بداية عام ٢٠١٩ ونشرت لأول مرة عام ٢٠٢٠ ويبلغ عدد صفحاتها ١٩٦ صفحة وعدد كلماتها قرابة ٢٦ ألف كلمة وعدد فصولها ستة.
تناولت الرواية مواضيع مهمة وحساسة في المجتمع أيضاً لكن بشكلٍ هامشي، ومن ضمن تلك المواضيع: التنمر والعنصرية والصراع الدنيوي للقمة العيش ومجتمع الطبقية والعوامل المؤدية لتفكك العائلة وانحياز المرء للخطيئة لغاية جني النقود بعد عناء وصبر مع الفقر وصراع المرء الداخلي بين الخير والشر والخطيئة والصواب وتأثير كل منهما على المدى القريب والبعيد.
