إن للصوم علاقة قوية بتهذيب الأخلاق وتجميلها، وهو مقصد من مقاصد {لعلكم تتقون}، لهذا أينما وجدت صائماً وجدته ذات خلق طيب وكريم وحسن، وكلامي عن الصيام الذي تتمثل فيه روح الدين وآدابه، لا صيام الجوع والعطش فقط.
وقد حرصت أن أكتب في هذا الكتاب على عجالة عن مجموعة من الأخلاق ذات الصلة بالصوم بعدد أيام شهر رمضان، واجتهدت أن استأصل لكل خلق ما قدرت من آيات القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية الشريفة وحكايات السلف الصالح.
داعياً الله أن يتقبل مني عملي، وأن ينفع بي، وأن يجعله في ميزان حسناتي وآبائي وكل من له حق عليّ.
