تناولت هذه الأطروحة موضوعاً مهماً وهو الإنضباط في ضوء السنّة النبوية، دراسة موضوعية، وتشملُ: بيان مفهومه، وأهميته، وأُسسه، ووسائل إيجاده وسبَلَ تنميته، ومجالاته المتنوعة، وتسليط الضوء على بعض الصور الرائعة في تعامل المسلم مع الآخر؛ وأساسها تقدير وقوع الإختلاف وحُسن التعامل معه بحكمة ورحمة وتسامح.
وقد أوضحت هذه الأطروحة بالأدلة من السنّة النبوية والسيرة العطرة حرص الإسلام على تربية المسلمين على الإنضباط من خلال أمره وتوجيهه بالتقيد بالإلتزام بتنفيذ الأوامر المشروعة بشمولها، وأن يكون ذلك التطبيق بصورة متقنة ومحكمة، مع الحرص على مراعاة إحترام النظام والإلتزام به بأجل صورة وأرقى حالاته، وقد استشهدت على ذلك بالتطبيق العملي من التاريخ الإسلامي المشرق، وخاصة في زمن الخلفاء الراشدين - رضي الله عنهم -.
كما ردَّت هذه الأطروحة على إتهام الأمة الإسلامية بالفوضى والعشوائية في تنفيذ الأوامر، وبينت أنَّ من يقع منه ذلك يُعد مخالفاً للأوامر والتوجيهات الشرعية، كما وردَّت على بعض الطعون والشبهات الأخرى، ومنها إدعاء تعرض غير المسلمين للظلم في ظل حياتهم في الدولة الإسلامية، وبينت أنهم قد تمتعوا بالعدل والإحسان، وحقوق المواطنة الكاملة.
وخلُصت الأُطروحة إلى أنَّ الإسلام قد رتَّب ونظَّم شؤون المسلمين كلها بإتقان وإحكام، ونَبَذَ العشوائية والفوضى من حياتهم؛ ففي مجال العقيدة هذَّب ونظم تعامل المسلم مع الخالق تبارك وتعالى، وجعل العقيدة في المنطلق الأول والمحرك الأساس لجميع الأعمال، وركَّز على المراقبة الذاتية، وجاء دور الشعائر التعبدية المخصوصة بارزاً وفي مقدمتها الصلاة؛ لتحقق الأثر الكبير في تربية المسلم، وليتعلم ويعتاد من خلالها الإنضباط بصورة العامة، وخاصة بالوقت، والإلتزام بتنفيذ الأمر، والتقيد بالكيفية المطلوبة بدقة متناهية.
