صلاح نصر (8 أكتوبر 1920 - 5 مارس 1982) قائد عسكري وسياسي مصري، من مواليد قرية سنتماي مركز ميت غمر بمحافظة الدقهلية، كان رئيس جهاز المخابرات العامة المصرية بين أعوام 1957 - 1967.
نبذة
يعتبر صلاح نصر أشهر رئيس للمخابرات المصرية وله دور بارز في رفع شأن المخابرات العامة المصرية فقد تم في عهده العديد من العمليات الناجحة، تمنت أسرته المتوسطة الحال أن يصبح طبيباً لكنه فضل أن يدخل المدرسة الحربية ليتخرج ضابطاً.
المولد والنشأة
ولد صلاح نصر في 8 أكتوبر 1920 في قرية سنتماي، مركز ميت غمر، محافظة الدقهلية وكان والده أول من حصل من قريتهم على تعليم عال، وكان صلاح أكبر أخوته لذا كان مميزا كابن بكر بالنسبة لأبيه وأمه. وتلقى صلاح تعليمه الابتدائي في مدرسة طنطا الابتدائية وتلقى تعليمه الثانوي في عدة مدارس نظرا لتنقل أبيه من بلدة لأخرى فقد درس في مدارس طنطا الثانوية، وقنا الثانوية، وبمبة قادن الثانوية بالقاهرة، ونشأ في طبقته الوسطى وأمضى طفولته وصباه في مدينة طنطا، وكانت أول هدية حصل عليها من أبيه كاميرا تصوير ماركة «نورتون» ثمنها اثنا عشر قرشا عام 1927.

يتناول هذا الكتاب موضوع ذو اهمية خاصة في تلك الفترة التاريخية التى عاشها العالم بعد انتهاء الحرب العالمية الثانية وهى الحرب النفسية يناقشها رجل برز في فترة تاريخية هامة من تاريخ مصر بعد ثورة 23 يوليو وهو صلاح نصر فيتناول مفهومها وتطورها وكيف انها تمثل جزء من الحرب الشاملة وكيف يتم تنظيمها أيضا مجالات التوصيل وسلاح الشائعات ثم دور المخابرات في هذه الحرب النفسية يتكون الكتاب من جزاين متناولا القضية من جانبي تاريخي وتحليلي بين الحاضر والماضي وباقي العوامل المؤثرة فيها.
