الشيخ عبدالله خياط
السيرة الذاتية
هو عبدالله بن عبدالغني بن محمد بن عبدالغني أبو عبدالرحمن خياط، إمام وخطيب المسجد الحرام، ولد سنة 1326 هـ بمكة، ونشأ بها، وطلب العلم وهو صغير، فحفظ القرآن الكريم، وجوَّده في تسعة أشهر على يد الشيخ حسن عرب السندي، ثم قرأ "سنن الترمذي" على الشيخ أبي بكر خوقير، وقرأ على الشيخ عبدالظاهر أبي السمح، والشيخ عبدالله بن حسن آل الشيخ، والشيخ محمد عبدالرزاق حمزة، وغيرهم من العلماء الأجلاء، ودرس بالعهد السعودي وتخرج سنة 1350 هـ، واجتهد في طلب العلم حتى أصبح عَلَمًا بارزًا وتربويًّا رائدًا، لذا اختير لتدريس أنجال الملك عبدالعزيز سنة 1356 هـ، وهناك لقي قبولاً واسعًا وترحيبًا عظيمًا، ثم عاد إلى مكة، وفيها ولي وكالة كلية الشريعة بها، وله مؤلفات منها: "اعتقاد السلف"، و"الرواد الثلاثة"، و"ديوان خطب"، و"التفسير الميسَّر".
ولي إمامة المسجد الحرام سنة 1346 هـ، ثم أضيف إليه خطابة المسجد الحرام سنة 1373 هـ، واستمر في الإمامة والخطابة إلى أن اعتذر عنهما لظروفه الصحية، وذلك سنة 1405 هـ، كما عين عضوًا في هيئة الأمر بالمعروف سنة 1347هـ، وعضوًا في هيئة كبار العلماء بالسعودية.
قلتُ: عرفتُ فضيلة الشيخ عبدالله خياط عن قرب؛ فقد كان - رحمه الله - ليِّنًا، متواضعًا، سهلاً، كريمًا، زاهدًا، وَرِعًا، عليه بهاء الصالحين وسيما المصلحين، لا يقصده أحد إلا ساعده، ولا يطلبه شخص إلا ناوله، بهي الوجه، تالي الذكر، شجي الصوت، وحياته وأخلاقه وآثاره تحتاج إلى مجلد ضخم، وهيهات أن يوفَّى حقه.
توفي سنة 1415 هـ بمكة، رحمه الله تعالى.
