الطِّيبي (000 - 743 هـ = 000 - 1342 م)
الحسين بن محمد بن عبد الله، شرف الدين الطيبي:
• من علماء الحديث والتفسير والبيان. من أهل توريز، من عراق العجم.
• كانت له ثروة طائلة من الإرث والتجارة، فأنفقها في وجوه الخير، حتى افتقر في آخر عمره.
• وكان شديد الردّ على المبتدعة، ملازما لتعليم الطلبة والإنفاق على ذوي الحاجة منهم، آية في استخراج الدقائق من الكتاب والسنة، متواضعا، ضعيف البصر.
من كتبه:
• (التبيان في المعاني والبيان - خ) في شستربتي (4606) وعارف حكمت (10 بلاغة)
• (الخلاصة في معرفة الحديث - خ) [ثم طُبع]
• (شرح الكشاف - خ) [ثم طُبع] أربعة مجلدات ضخمة، في التفسير، سماه (فتوح الغيب في الكشف عن قناع الريب - خ) في الخزانة الأزهرية، ومنه مجلد في الرباط (175 كتاني) كتب في حياة المؤلف
• (شرح مشكاة المصابيح) في الحديث [مطبوع]

Book Description
إن أول سبل تجديد البلاغة العربية هو الرجوع إلى التراث البلاغي القديم ودراسة مخطوطاته وتحقيقها لنلتمس منه أسساً نبني عليها ما نريد من التجديد إذ كل تجديد يبدأ من فراغ يصير في الحقيقة إلى الفراغ ذاته ولا جديد لمن لا قديم له.
ومن هذا المنطلق، درس الدكتور عبد الستار حسين زموط أحد كتب التراث البلاغي المخطوطة وهو كتاب (التبيان في البيان) الذي يعد من الكتب الأمهات في البلاغة العربية، فضلاً عن إشتماله على نظرات رائعة تعد جديدة في المدرسة البلاغية التي ينتمي إليها مؤلفه الإمام الطيبي، مما دفعه إلى تحقيق هذا المخطوط تحقيقاً علمياً إحياء للتراث العربي من ناحية وتيسيراً للإطلاع عليه من ناحية أخرى، والكتاب من أمهات كتب التراث التي تعد معاصرة لنا وجديدة في البحث البلاغي في الوقت ذاته ويتمثل الجديد في هذا الكتاب.
