ياسوناري كواباتا (باليابانية: 川端 康成 كواباتا ياسوناري) المولود في 14 يونيو 1899 والمتوفى في 16 ابريل 1972 روائي ياباني أهله إبداعه النثري المكتوب بلغة شعرية راقية وغامضة للحصول على جائزة نوبل للأدب 1968؛ ليصبح بذلك أول أديب ياباني يحصل على الجائزة العالمية.
ولا تزال أعماله مقروءة إلى اليوم
Book Description
"البحيرة" رواية يابانية للكاتب الشهير ياسوناري كاواباتا كتبها العام 1954. نقلها إلى العربية عبد الرزاق جعفر.
تحكي الرواية قصة جيمي موموي الشاب الضائع في متاهات الواقع الذي يعيشه بعد الدمار الذي تعرضت له اليابان بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية. وسط هذا الزحام يعيش بطل الرواية، تحركه دواخله لمطاردة النساء الجميلات. لكنه في كل مرة يُصاب بخيبة الأمل. يطرد من وظيفته كمدرس للغة اليابانية بعد أن يقع في غرام إحدى طالباته وهي "هيساكو".
يُذكر أن الروائي ياسوناري كاواباتا نشر أول رواياته وهو ما يزال تلميذاً في المدرسة الثانوية، وعندها قرر أن يمتهن الكتابة.
من رواياته "راقص أزو": عام 1925، "بلد الثلج"، 1956، و "البحيرة" 1959.
نال جائزة نوبل للآداب عام 1986 وانتحر بخنق نفسه بالغاز في العام 1972 لأسباب غامضة.
