درست الاقتصاد في جامعة جوتنبرغ قبل أن تنتقل إلى ستوكهولم حيث عملت كاقتصادية لبضع سنوات.
أشعلت دورة تدريبية عن الكتابة الإبداعية حبها للكتابة فتركت الاقتصاد واتجهت لكتابة الروايات.
