النفس الانسانية لايحاط بكنهها وحقيقتها بل ادعى البعض ان معرفتها مستحيلة لذا علقت معرفة الحق عليها فقيل (من عرف نفسه فقد عرف ربه) ونحن في هذا البحث نريد ان نتناول جدولا من جداول ذلك البحر المحيط , وهذا الجدول هو الحواس الخمسة الباطنية للنفس وهي السمع والبصر والشم والذوق واللمس التي هي وراء هذه الحواس الخمسة الظاهرية المستعملة للعين والاذن والانف واللسان والخلايا الحسية في البدن , وتلك الحواس الباطنية عبر عنها انها ملكوتية لانها لاتستعمل البدن المادي وآلآته ولا تحتاح اليه , بل في كثير من الاحيان لاتعمل الحواس الملكوتية الا في حال تعطل الحواس الظاهرية.
