فرانسواز ساگان Françoise Sagan (و. 21 يونيو 1935 - ت. 24 سبتمبر 2004)، اسمها الحقيقي فرانسوا كواريه، هي كاتبة مسرحيات، روئاية،وكاتبة سيناريو فرنسية. امتدحها فرانسوا موريا على الصفحة الأولى بجريدة لو فيگارو بوصفها "وحش صغير آسر". اشتهرت ساگان بالمواضيع العاطفية القوية لشخصيات ثرية وبورجوازية ضائعة.
تُعد فرانسواز ساگان من أبرز الشخصيات الأدبية في النصف الثاني من القرن العشرين بسبب موضوعاتها وأسلوب حياتها الشخصية. ولدت الكاتبة في عائلة كواريه الصناعية الثرية في بلدة كاجرك جنوب غربي فرنسا. أما اسمها المستعار (ساگان) فقد أخذته من إحدى شخصيات الأديب الفرنسي مارسيل بروست. خاضت ساگان تجربة الزواج مرتين، إذ ارتبطت في المرة الأولى بالناشر الفرنسي گي شولر وفي المرة الثانية بالنحات الأمريكي روبرت وستهوف الذي أنجبت منه ابنها الوحيد
