تريد أن تعرف كل ذلك؟ إذاً عليك بالصبر.. ستصل إلى مرادك لاريب في ذلك إنما عليك بالصبر.... رويداً رويداً.. قد يكون من الضروري تنبيهك أن أخباري التي تنتظرها منذ أمد بعيد لن تردك منتظمة كما يقتضي منطق الأشياء، إذ ليس لي الرغبة ولا العزيمة على سردها كما تتطلب أصول الفن فأبدأ من البدء كما يلح عليك التاريخ والعقل.. بإمكانك أنت المولع بالحاسوب أن تطلب منه ذلك إذا شئت!.
إنتهيت من إعادة قراءة (أزهار الشر).. الساعة الثانية صباحاً.. الكونشرتوالثانية لرحمانينوف في رحيقها الأخير.. بضع دقائق وسأستمع إلى إيلا فيتزجيرالد ولويس أرمسترونج في (بوركي وبيس).. لايشكل هذا الانتقال بالنسبة لي سوى ترك نهر والسباحة في نهر آخر.. فالأولى تحملني إلى قلب الاغتراب.. ففي كل مرة تصغي إلى هذه النغمات المتوحدة يراودك الإحساس أنه ليس هناك من موسيقى يمكنها مشاركتك هذه اللحظات كتلك الكونشرتو، أما الجاز فانه كموعد لم يقم أبداً.. أو حركة ماءٍ تسير بك إلى لقاء لن يأتِ مرةٍ.
أمامي كأسان من الويسكي وسيجارتان، كأس صديقي الذي ضاع في دخان الحرب ولم يعد أبداً، وكأسي أنا الذي دخل غابة التشرد منذ طفولتي ولم أزل. وسيجارة صديقي الذي ودعني قبل أن يختفي في ضباب المعارك ورماد المدافع، وسيجارتي التي تربط بين كل تناقضاتي.
