من آداب تلاوة القرآن الكريم :
1- التطهر من الحدث .
2- استخدام السواك قبل القراءة .
3- يستحسن استقبال القبلة قبل القراءة لأنها أشرف الجهات .
4- التعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم .
5- البداية بالبسملة .
6- الترتيل الحسن .
7- سؤال الله عند آيات الرحمة .
8- التعوذ بالله عند آيات العذاب .
9- تنزيه الله عند آيات التنزيه .
10- ملازمة الخشوع والسكينة عند التلاوة .
11- تدبر الآيات وفهم معانيها .
12- ملازمة فواعد التجويد أثناء التلاوة .
13- الائتمار بأمره ، والانتهاء بنهيه .
14- دعاء الله أن يفقهه في الدين ويعلمه التأويل .
15- الحرص على مطالعة التفاسير المعتبرة عند أهل السنة والجماعة قبل التلاوة والحفظ .
16- العمل بالعلم .
17- سؤال الله التوفيق والإعانة على الحفظ .
18- الحرص على اجتناب المعاصي كبيرها وصغيرها .
* قال الشافعي رحمه الله :
شكوت إلى وكيع سوء حفظي فأرشدني إلى ترك المعاصي
وقال اعلم بأن العلم نورٌ ونور الله لا يؤتاه عاصي
19- استحضار عظمة الله جل وعز ، والتأدب معه سبحانه وتعالى .
20- استحضار أن هذا القرآن من الله لعباده .
