عن موسى بن ابي ذر البيضاوي قال : كنت أمشي خلف الحلاج في سكك البيضاء فوقع ظل شخص من بعض السطوح عليه . فرفع الحلاج رأسه فوق بصره على امرأة حسناء فالتفت إلي وقال : سترى وبال هذا علي ولو بعد حين.
فلما كان يوم صلبه كنت بين القوم أبكي فوقع بصره علي من رأس الخشبة فقال : يا موسى من رفع رأسه كما رأيت وأشرف إلى ما لا يحل له أشرف على الخلق هكذا , وأشار إلى الخشبة
