أبو الأسود الدّوليّ شاعر فذّ، تألق فأضاء جوانب النفس، وبعث فيها القوّة والحياة.
يزخر هذا المؤلّف بألوان زاهية من أفكار أبي الأسود وفلسفته في الحياة، وينبض بروح رقيقة نمَّتْ عن مضامينه الشعريّة والوجدانيّة من مدح إلى فخر ورثاء وشعر سياسيّ.
هذا الكتاب هو دراسة تحليليّة هدفها إظهار المضامين الشعريّة الوجدانيّة عند أبي الأسوَد الدّوْليّ ووصف لبنائيّة قصيدته.
من المتداول والشّائع بين النّاس، أنّ أبا الأَسْوَد الدُّؤَليّ قد وَضَعَ عِلْمَ النَّحْو بإيعازٍ من الإمام عليّ رضي الله عنه، بيد أنّ عبقريّته الشّعريّة ظلَّتْ مغمورةً، ولم تُتَح لها أقلامٌ تدرسُها وتتناولُها بالتّصنيف والتّحليل، والشّرح والتّعليل، فبقي ذكرُهُ مطويّاً في ثنايا عِلْمِ اللّغة، حتّى إِذا سَمِعْنا بإسمه شاعِراً اعترتْنا الدّهشةُ، وارتسمَتْ على شفاهنا علاماتُ الإستفهام؛ وكأنَّ قصائدَ المتنبّي وأبي فراس وغيرها من قصائد فحول الشّعر العربيّ قد غطَّتْ على أشعار أبي الأَسْوَد وأخباره وعلى سواه من الشّعراء الميامين.
لعلَّ هذا ما أثار إهتمامي للبحثِ والتّنقيبِ عن شاعرٍ تفتّقَتْ شاعريّتُهُ عن أفكارٍ جميلةٍ وصورٍ أخّاذةٍ واساليبَ بديعةٍ؛ جعلّتْ منه شاعراً مجيداً، حَسْبُهُ أنَّه عاصرَ الإمام عليّاً، وأبحرَ في محيطِ علمِهِ الصّافي النّقيّ.
ولا يغيبَنَّ عن الإذهانِ علاقةُ الأدبِ بالحياة والمجتمع، وكثيراً ما نقعُ على آثار أدبيّة تصوِّرُ المجتمعَ وتنقلُ حركتَهُ ومخاضَهُ وواقعَهُ، فكان الأدبُ بعامَّةٍ والشّعرُ بخاصّة مرآةً تعكسُ هموم المواطن وآمالَ المثقّف ومشاعر الإنسان مهما اختلفّتْ وتعدَّدت.
لذا، تطرحُ الدّراسةُ قدرةَ النّصّ الشّعريّ على نقلِ الواقع من دون مغالاة، فتظهرُ إشكاليتُنا في السّؤال عن فاعليّة الشّعر الدُّؤَليّ ومدى إرتباطه بالعصر الّذي ولدَ فيه، كيف تشكّل؟ وكيف تمظهر؟ وما المدلولات الّتي أراد التّعبير عنها؟.
أمّا المنهج الّذي ننطلقُ منه في دراستنا ويرافقُنا في تحليلنا، فإنّه المنهجُ الموضوعاتيّ، وقد اخترناه بغيةَ تتَبّع معاني الشّعر في القصيدةِ الدُّؤَليّة وإستخراج الأهمِّ والتّدقيقِ في التّواردِ والتّرابط، "الموضوع وفاقاً لهذا المعنى وحدة إستبداليّة تكوّن جزءاً من النّظام الدّلاليّ للنصّ، يعبّر عن خصوصيّة الكاتب"، فضلاً عن توظيف بعض سمات المنهج البنيويّ في القسم الأخير من الدراسة.
