عبد الكريم برشيد كاتب صحفي ومؤلف ومخرج مسرحي وُلد سنة 1943 بمدينة بركان شمال المغرب.

رئيس تحرير مجلة التأسيس-دفاتر مسرحية والتي أصدرت من مدينة مكناس سنة 1986.
يشغل حاليا مهام مندوب إقليمنذر حياته للمسرح ابداعا ونقدا وتنظيرا، وهو الاب الروحي للاحتفالية في المسرح؛ ذلك انه إلى جانب كونه مبدعا متميزا بنصوصه المسرحية ذات الطابع التجريبي قد قدّم التنظير على شكل بيانات تحمل اسم "بيانات المسرح الاحتفالي"؛ وقد جمع هذه البيانات في كتاب سمّاه "المسرح الاحتفالي"، ثم تلت ذلك كتب نقدية تحمل سمات التنظير أهمها: "الكائن والممكن في المسرح الاحتفالي" و"الاحتفالية: مواقف مضادّة" و"الاحتفالية في أفق التسعينات" و"غابة الاشارات" لوزارة الثقافة على اقليم محافظة الخميسات
Book Description
بدأ عبد الكريم برشيد بكتابة مسرحية ابن الرومي في مدن الصفيح في عام 1975م، في مدينة الخميسات، وانتهى من كتابتها في ذات العام، ولكن في مدينة الدار البيضاء، وقد نُشرت أوّل مرة في عام 1978م في مجلة الآداب البيروتية، ومن ثمّ في مجلة الفنون المغربية، وقد قدمها برشيد في المهرجان الوطني في مدينة مراكش في عام 1979م، وقد حازت على جائزة أفضل نص مسرحي، وتصنّف مسرحية ابن الرومي في مدن الصفيح من المسرحيات الاحتفالية، وهدفها الرئيسي هو تعرية الواقع الذي يعيش فيه الإنسان في مدن الصفيح التي تتصف بأنّها تفتقد لأدنى شروط الحياة الكريمة.
