إن أي واحد منا تتلاطمه الأمواج خلال مراحل عمره، ويمر بالكثير من الأحداث والمواقف المؤلمة والمزعجة والصادمة، وبالمقابل السعيدة والمفرحة، وهذه طبيعة الحياة، المزاج كترمومتر الحرارة، مرة يصعد ومرة يهبط، ولكن لن يقف عند خط واحد إلا إذا تلف.
نحن في خضم أي كارثة أو موقف أو أزمة يتوارى لنا ونعتقد بل قد نفقد الأمل ولا نتفاءل بأننا لن نخرج من هذه الأزمة وإنها نهاية الكون، ونفقد الصبر والحكمة والمنطقية والعقلانية، ونتوقع أن هذه المشكلة أو الحدث أو الأزمة لن تنحل، ثم ما تلبث أن تنحل بطريقة أو بأخرى، وقد تنحل بفعل الزمن، فلن يبقى أي حال كما كان عليه، ودوام الحال من المحال، والتاريخ يثبت لنا أن بيوتا ومجتمعات ودولا قسا عليها الزمن، وعانت من الظلم والاضطهاد والقسوة وقلة الحال والحيلة، ولكن من كانوا وراء ذلك ذهبوا وأصبحوا تاريخا بسيئاته وحسناته، ولو أعدنا الذاكرة للوراء وفكرنا فيما كنا نفكر فسنجد أنفسنا كنا أكثر قسوة على أنفسنا من القساة أنفسهم، وفي مرات قد وصلنا إلى مرحلة كره ذاتنا ولم نعطها من الحب ما يكفي.
