ما اگر از دلایت قرآن و روایت پیامبران صرفنظر كنیم، هرگز نمیتوانیم به حقانیت زرشت و آئین او پی ببریم، زیرا كه اولا زمان ظهور زرتشت و شرح اقدامات او روشن نیست، و ثانیا كتاب اوستا كه بدو منسوب شده، از گزند فزونی و كاستی محفوظ نمانده است. پس نه پیامبر این آئین را به خوبی میتوان شناخت و نه كتاب و پیام وی را به درستی میتوان یافت، حتی زمان ظهور زرتشت معلوم نیست كه وی در كدام عصر میزیسته است
