في قلب ريف مصر، بين بساتين النخيل وأصوات الطيور التي تملأ الأجواء، عاشت حور فتاة تحمل في عينيها أحلامًا كبيرة تفوق حجم قريتها الصغيرة. كانت عائلة حور بسيطة، والدها مصطفى مزارع كادح يكدّ طوال النهار في أرضه، ووالدتها مريم التي كانت تشرف على تفاصيل المنزل بحنان لا يُقارن
حور، بطبيعتها الحالمة، كانت تعيش بين دفء بيتها وأحلامها اللامحدودة، تتوق إلى الحب الحقيقي الذي قرأته في كتبها وأحلامها، ولاحظت منذ الصغر أن قلبها يميل لصلاح، الشاب الطموح الذي كان يعيش على أطراف القرية، رجل أحلامها الصامت الذي يتحدث إليه في صمت الشجرة الكبيرة تحتها اجتمعا
ولكن الحياة، كما هي دوماً، لم تخلُ من المفاجآت. فالزواج الذي رسمته العائلة كان مشروعًا أكثر منه قصة حب، حيث قررت أسرتها تزويجها لأحمد، ابن العمدة مجدي، الذي كان يحمل في قلبه طموحات وأحلام والديها التجارية، لتبدأ حور رحلة صراع بين ما ترغب به وما يريده الآخرون
وهكذا، تبدأ قصة حور، التي تجمع بين أحلامها وحياتها الواقعية، بين الحب والخيبة، بين الأمل والخذلان. قصة لن تكتب نهايتها كما حلمت، لكنها ستظل محفورة في أروقة الزمن، تردد صدى قلبها الذي لم يتوقف عن النبض
