يمسك المكنسة، وينضف الشارع كأنه بينضف قلبه من الهموم
راجل بسيط، ملامحه تعبت من السنين،
بس جواه حُلم... يشوف ابنه "سامي" في حال أحسن
ضحّى، وكافح، وجاع علشان يِشبَع غيره،
وساب نفسه وراه... على أمل إن اللي زرعه، يطرح خير
لكن الزرع طلع شوك
