كمن يجمع شتاته من المرايا،
كلُّ مرآةٍ تعكس وجهًا مختلفًا لي،
ولا واحدة تكذب،
لأن الحقيقة
لا تظهر كاملةً
في انعكاسٍ واحد.
هذه أوراقي…
كُتبت حين كنت غير الذي أنا عليه الآن،
حين كنت أكثر صدقًا،
وأقلَّ قدرةً على التجمُّل.
أوراقٌ لم تتعلّم الوقوف في صفٍّ مستقيم،
لأن الروح
لا تعرف الاصطفاف.
