الشيخ أبو محمد المقدسي خرج الى الجهاد في سبيل الله تعالى والإعداد في أفغانستان زمن الاحتلال السوفييتي ثم عاد، والشيخ أبو محمد المقدسي قدّم ابنه الشاب ( عمر عز الدين ) شهيدا - هكذا نحسبه والله حسيبه ولا نزكي على الله أحدا - حيث ارتقى في العراق عندما احتل الأمريكان بلاد الرافدين مقبلا غير مدبر .. نسأل الله العلي العظيم أن يرحمه ويرحم أموات المسلمين.
الشيخ أبو محمد المقدسي علّم من أعلام الأمة وجبل من جبال العلم والتوحيد في هذا الزمن- زمن الغربة - وقد قضى أكثر من 20 عاما متفرقات في سجون الأردن بسبب دعوته وجهاده .. نسأل الله الواحد الأحد أن يتقبل منه هذا البلاء.
