غرفتها المحاضرة التي لا تطل على شيء. سيريرها الذي يحتل نصف المكان، والنصف الآخر فراغ، ثيابها القليلة المرمية هنا وهناك غالباً ما يكون حذاؤها الوحيد مقلوباً على قفاه. وفي حمامها النظيف بادعاء، عشرات أنواع الصابون، وسوائل المضمضة، وقلم حمرة، وألبسة داخلية بألوان أكثر من فاقعة معلقة على الجدار، ومرآة مكسورة بضربة قوية في منتصفها. لا أدري.. كلما أغلقت خلفي بابها المملوء بعبارات بكل لغات الأرض، وأرقام هواتف وعناوين، أسمع صوت البحر، وأرى غابة، يشطرها نهر لقسمين، وطيور آمنة تبني أعشاشها في كل مكان، وأراها تجلس بيدها كتاب وعلى رأسها قبعة، وعلى ذلك العشب أفرشها، أو أتكيها على جذع شجرة، أو بشبق على شاطئ البحر، وأسمعها تقول الآه.. ويكرر الصدى ما تقول. لا أدري.. كلما غادرتها، بثيابي المبللة، المدموغة بخضار الشعب، المحفوفة بجذوع الأشجار، أسمع همسات تسخر مني، وأصطدم برجال يحملون فؤوساً، وشباك صيد، وجنود ببنادق وأسلاك شائكة، وزحام لا نهاية له، أشعل سيجارة بدروة عامود كهرباء، وأمضي إلى حيث لا أحد إلا أنا والتلفاز.
