«أسرى الأوهام» كتاب فكري يتناول آليات الانحيازات المعرفية التي تشكّل طريقة تفكير الإنسان وتوجّه قراراته دون أن يشعر. يبدأ المؤلف من فكرة مركزية مفادها أن الدماغ البشري مصمّم للبقاء قبل أن يكون مهيأً لالتماس الحقيقة، ثم ينتقل لتحليل الانطباع الأول، وأثر المعلومة الأولى، والانحياز الاجتماعي، ووهم الثقة المفرطة، والدور الخفي للسرد والإعلام والاقتصاد السلوكي في صياغة قناعاتنا.
يعرض الكتاب أمثلة تاريخية وعلمية معاصرة، ودراسات في علم النفس والأعصاب، ويقدّم تفسيرًا واضحًا لكيفية وقوع الأفراد والمجتمعات في دوائر من الأوهام الجماعية. كما يزوّد القارئ بأدوات عملية للتفكير النقدي وتحرير العقل من القيود الذهنية التي تتشكل بفعل العادة والهوية والخوف.
«أسرى الأوهام» ليس مجرد تحليل نظري، بل رحلة وعي تهدف إلى مساعدة القارئ على رؤية ذاته والعالم بوضوح أكبر، وإعادة بناء علاقة صحية مع الحقيقة بعيداً عن ضجيج الانحيازات.
