إن التجارة من الكسب الطيب الذي حث عليه الإسلام وأمر به قال تعالي:}يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ بِالْبَاطِلِ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ تِجَارَةً عَنْ تَرَاضٍ مِنْكُمْ ۚ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا(29){ ]النساء[
فالتجارة من الكسب الحلال الذي أوصى الله به في القرآن الكريم ، وجعل الصدق والأمانة سببا لرفع منزلة التجار عند الله تعالى
