تعرض لنا الآيات في جلال وإجلال.. ما يبشِّرُ به ملائكة الموت - قابضو الأنفس - المُحتضرَ بما يناسب ما كان عليه من حال وانتماء.. إذ كل فريق يرى ويُخبَرُ بما أعِدَّ له وينتظره من النـُّزُل حسب ما كان عليه كل منهم من الحال والعمل في دنياه.. إذ إن منازل الناس كما ألقابهم ورتبهم ساعتئذٍ لا تخرج عن منزلة من ثلاث منازل لا رابع لها.. فإما أن يكون المحتضر من أهل السبق إلى الصالح من الأعمال فيكون من أصحاب منزلة السابقين(أصحاب النفوس المطمئنة).. وإما أن يكون من القائمين على الفرائض الموفين حدودها من غير إكثار من النوافل، الذين هم لأنفسهم دائما يحاسبون ومعها يتلاومون فيكون من أصحاب منزلة اليمين(أصحاب النفوس اللوامة).. وإما أن يكون من أهل الكفر والشرك والفسوق والنفاق ونعوذ بالله منهم ومن مصيرهم وشر ما يبشرون به فيكون من أصحاب منزلة الشمال (أصحاب النفوس الخبيثة)..
