Ce sont pourtant ces mêmes puissances qui déclarent encore et sans cesse s'inquiéter des droits des femmes et des minorités en Syrie, juste après que son peuple meurtri s’est enfin fait affranchi du joug d’un régime tyrannique et sanguinaire. Peuple encore euphorie pour sa délivrance mais préoccupé par la reconstruction de son pays à 60% dévasté et par le rapatriement et le relogement de quelques millions de syriens réfugiés dans des camps en Syrie et un peu partout autour avec bien d’autres dispersé dans pays du monde.
Et pourtant ces puissances mêmes tergiversent encore pour lever les sanctions destinées plutôt au régime déchu et prennent le peuple syrien martyr à la gorge. Elles savent parfaitement que personne ne les croit plus, mais elles n’en a cure. Elles ne sont préoccupées que par leurs intérêts stratégiques, sans nul égard pour les droits de l’homme, qu'il s'agisse d’enfants, de femmes ou de minorités religieuses et ethniques.
