Book Description
The Manual of European & Arab Islamic Organizations Advocating for Civil & Political Rights in Northern & Southern Europe was fulfilled under the supervision of Hiwar Center for Studies in the Gaza Strip, and funded by PALM Strategic Initiative Center from March to October 2022.
The project is a qualitative effort, as it is perhaps the first of its kind in Palestine to search in Northern & Southern European societies for all civil rights advocates, human rights activists and injustice opponents. It also provides a brief and easy guidance so that all advocates for Palestinian rights, both official and unofficial, inside and outside Palestine, can communicate with these organizations in the tergeted areas in favor of the Palestinian cause.
The manual basically aims to introduce lists and keys of the most prominent European & Arab Islamic Organizations advocates for civil and political rights in Northern & Southern Europe. In addition, it comes with a brief definition that highlights the importance of the organization and provides general information without detriment to their essence. Moreover, the manual includes these entries’ websites addresses to facilitate communication and influence on them.
The wide spectrum of organizations advocating for civil and political rights in Northern & Southern Europe has set general framework and specific criteria for the research team. These criteria are confined to organizations that are active in the European scene, have a vast audience and a real influence on them. In other words, the manual does not include all organizations in Northern & Southern Europe but a specific group with which constructive communication and interaction can be made to serve the Palestinian cause.
