Malgré sa promesse, il a choisi d'ouvrir la porte, découvrant une vérité bouleversante qui lui interdit de mener une vie normale. Sa rencontre avec Lisa va tout changer et lui redonner une raison d'espérer. Dès lors, Arthur et Lisa n'ont qu'une obsession, déjouer les pièges que leur impose le plus impitoyable des ennemis : le temps. Un suspense psychologique vertigineux au final stupéfiant.
