"كل شيء أسهل". إن جورج شحادة يكشف ألغاز الغربة ويفكك رموزها ليرسم بلغة وجدانية صورة ما يعتمل في داخل كل فرد تساوره الرغبة والحنين إلى أرضه بعد أن تستبد به سنوات الوحشة والغربة التي يمنحها أجمل سنواته. ثم لا يلبث أن يكتشف عقم تلك السنوات وخواءها، فيرتد إلى ذكرياته بوله وشوق طفولي. جاءت هذه الطبعة بالنصين الفرنسي والعربي ليتمكن القارئ من تذوق النص بلغته الفرنسية التي كتب لها وبالترجمة التي تعد نصاً أدبياً غاية في الإبداع
