وليد عبد المنعم شاعر من مواليد القاهرة تخرج من جامعة عين شمس عام 1996، ونشرت له العديد من قصائد الفصحى والعامية؛ شارك مع مجموعة من الفنانين في إعادة إحياء أغنية الفرق مرة أخري في أواخر التسعينات.

يحاول الشاعر فيه تقديم تجربته في الشعر الغنائي التي تغطي طيفا واسعا من الموضوعات، سواء الوطنية منها أو العاطفية، ويضم الديوان قسمان لقصائد الفصحى والعامية ,ولوليد العديد من الاغاني الناجحة، ونشرت له العديد من القصائد في الدوريات المختلفة، وشارك في العديد من الندوات الشعريه بهيئة قصور الثقافة والجامعات المصريه ومعرض القاهره للكتاب وساقية الصاوي ,وشارك وليد عبد المنعم مع مجموعة من الفنانين في إعادة أحياء أغنية الفرق مرة أخري في أواخر التسعينات وخصوصا مع فريق وسط البلد ,كما ترجمت العديد من قصائده للغة الفرنسية وتم نشرها في واحدة من أهم دوريات الشعر في فرنسا وهي Convergences.
