-شارك ضمن الوفد اليمني في مسابقة شاعر الشعراء أغسطس 2007م في العاصمة السورية دمشق.
-له عدة قصائد بأغراض متنوعة و مساجلات وحوارات متعددة مع مجموعة من شعراء اليمن وكذلك قصائد مغناة.
-صدر له كتابين:
• روائع من فنون الشعر الشعبي 2021م
• نفحات من فنون الشعر الشعبي 2023م
