يتضمَّن هذا الكتاب تحقيق لمخطوطة عن الإمام علي بن الحسين زين العابدين (عليه السلام) بعنوان : (نُور العَين اليمين في بَعضِ مَنَاقبِ الإمام سيّدنا عليّ السَّجّاد زَين العَابِدين (عليه السلام)). وهي من تأليف عبد الباقي بن صالح الشعّاب المدني (المتوفى بعد سنة 1236ه / 1821م). والمخطوطة لها نسخة وحيدة, وتقع في (55) صفحة, كتب الناسخ في الصفحة الأولى العنوان وأسم المؤلف ، وهي في سيرة أئمّة أهل البيت (عليهم السلام).
وتلَخَّص العمل قبل التحقيق بكتابة مقدمة للمخطوطة تتألف من تمهيد وثلاثة فصول, تطرّقنا في الفصل الأول: السيرة الشخصية للإمام السجّاد (عليه السلام), وتناولنا في الفصل الثاني: مقومات شخصية الإمام زين العابدين (عليه السلام). وتعلَّق الفصل الثالث بمؤلّف المخطوطة وأحواله العلمية، ثم ذِكِر تلخيص عمل المحقَّق وجهوده في (14 فقرة). وتم َّالعمل بتقطيع المخطوطة ووضع عناوين تُناسب كلّ مقطع منها.

This book includes an investigation of a manuscript on the authority of Imam Ali bin Al-Hussein Zain Al-Abidin (peace be upon him) entitled: (The light of the right eye in some virtues of Imam Ali Al-Sajjad Zain Al-Abidin (peace be upon him)). It was written by Abd al-Baqi ibn Salih al-Sha’ab al-Madani (who died after 1236 AH / 1821 CE). The manuscript has a single copy, and it consists of (55) pages. The copyist wrote on the first page the title and the name of the author, and it is in the biography of the Imams of Ahl al-Bayt .
The work was summarized before the investigation by writing an introduction to the manuscript consisting of an introduction and three chapters. The first chapter dealt with the personal biography of Imam Zain al-Abidin, and the second chapter tackled with the components of the personality of Imam Zain al-Abidin (peace be upon him). The third chapter relates to the author of the manuscript and his scientific conditions, and then mentions a summary of the investigator's work and efforts in (14 paragraphs). The manuscript was cut up and titles appropriate to each section.
