يحتوي كتاب دروس مختصرة في الرياضيات للسنة الخامسة من التعليم الابتدائي، الجزء الأول على 42 درسا مع أمثلة بسيطة وتدريبات، وهي دروس الفصل الأول والثاني، على أن يكون الجزء الثاني من هذا الكتاب ما تبقى من دروس الفصل الثالث.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن تسلسل محتويات هذا الكتاب يوافق ويساير دروس وموضوعات كتاب الرياضيات للسنة الخامسة ابتدائي المقرر من طرف وزارة التربية وفقا للمنهج الجديد، علما أن بعض الدروس قمت بدمجها لترابطها.
كما أنني عملت على أن يكون هذا الكتاب عبارة عن مجموعة من القواعد الرياضية ليسهل على المتعلم هضمها وتطبيقها في نفس الوقت، لأن أغلب كتب رياضيات المتوفرة بالمكتبات والأسواق الخاصة بالسنة الخامسة من مرحلة التعليم الابتدائي عبارة عن وضعيات والتمارين فقط
