من الإجحاف في حق علماء الدين إنكار فضلهم و مقامهم والمشقة التي لازمتهم طوال حياتهم ، إذ كلفتهم جَهدًا وجِدًا وكَدًّا.
يظهر ذلك جلياً في المكتبة الكبيرة التي ورثها الأجيال عنهم، في علم أصول الفقه وعلم الحديث والتفسير فضلاً عن المصنفات في شتى العلوم. كانوا يتحرون حقائق الأشياء، و يجتهدون في أن لا يخرجوا عن حدودها. وظلّت هذه المكتبة المنبع الثرّ الذي ينهلُ منه الأعلام، و الملجأَ الذي يُلجأُ إليه عند تحرير المسائل، و تقرير الدلائل، في غالب الأحكام، إلّا أنه لعِظَم قَدرِها الهفوة فيها أشد من غيرها.
لذلك، وبعد دراستي لعلمي أصول الفقه والحديث، لاحظت ما بدا لي أنه ثغرات تتصل بالمعنى والمبنى. فحرست على مشاركة إخوتي من أهل العلم بنات أفكاري، علها تكون في عصرنا هذا رافدا للنظر والتجديد، متوقعًا ردودهم مشكورين، خدمةً لديننا الحنيف، مبتغين من المولى عزّ وجل الأجر وحسنة الدارين.
