هذه الرواية لا تسيء إلى طوائف معينة، ولا تدعمها..
فالكاتب يؤمن أن كل إنسان مستقل بحد ذاته، له كيانه ونظامه الخاص، ويؤمن أن على الجميع العمل على حماية كل مضطهد، ودفع الظلم عن كل مظلوم، بغض النظر عن المصطلحات والتسميات.
وقد جرت العادة في شريعة الغاب، أن الأقليات في المجتمعات قد يتعرضون للظلم والاضطهاد، بدرجات متفاوتة من مجتمع إلى أخر، وعليه فإن الكاتب يؤيد ضرورة حمايتهم.
ولكن عندما تجتمع أقلية من الناس على ظلم الأغلبية، فلا يمكننا حينها القبول بجريمتهم، أو الصمت عليها، بذريعة حماية الأقليات، خصوصاً إن تحولت الطائفة إلى ما يشبه التنظيم السري، له أهدافه التي يعمل على تحقيقها بوسائل غير مشروعة على حساب الأغلبية.
