' ما الشتاء إلا رواية طويلة، وما أنا وأنتِ إلا حكايات في كتبٍ يسجله التاريخ، وبين صفحاته سطرت تفاصيل حياتنا، أتذڪّر حبُّكِ الدائم للشتاء، نجمة أنتِ تظهرين وتضيئين كافة أركاني في الليالي الشتائية المظلمة، ومطر حين يجف قلبي، ونسيمٌ عليل ليّ عندما تختنق أنفاسي، أسردي ليّ ما شئتِ من الحكايات اللطيفة، فأنتِ بطلة كل تلك الحكايات ولكِ يا سيدة النساء الجميلات من ترتيب الأحداث ما شئتِ، فعذرًا أيها الشتاء! فها هي ذا سيدتّك المبجلة'.
