قال بحار الأنوار للعلامة المجلسي ج85ص240عن المصباح للكفعمي : إن دعاء صنمي قريش دعاء عظيم الشأن رفيع المنزلة وهو من غوامض الأسرار وكرائم الأذكار رواه عبدالله ابن عباس عن أمير المؤمنين انه كان يقنت به ويواظب عليه في ليله ونهاره وأوقات أسحاره وقد ذكر بعض العلماء أن قراءة هذا الدعاء مجرب لقضاء الحوائج وتحقق الآمال وقد روي أن الداعي بهذا الدعاء هو كالرامي مع النبي -ص- في بدر وأحد وحنين بألف ألف سهم.،
