قلت لها: عايزك تكتبي لي مقدمة للكتاب.
قالت : "إنت عارف إن أنا تركت الفن والصحافة وقفلت هذا الباب من زمان".
ألححت عليها، قالت ضاحكة بخفة دمها المعتادة: "هاتسكت ولا أقول ما أعرفكش وماليش علاقة بالمذكرات دي"، ضحكت معها فرحاً بضحكتها التي لم تتغير منذ إحتجابها وحتى الآن، مثل صوتها الذي ما زال يحمل تلك التغريدة العذبة التي لا تنساها الأذن، نعم فشادية تنتمي إلى هؤلاء البشر الذين يبيعون العالم ليختاروا الإقتراب من ربهم ويبتعدوا عن كل ما في الدنيا من غواية وبريق.
لعل الندم الذي يعتريني أني لم أتعرف إلى فنانتي ومطربتي المفضلة إلا منذ عام 2000، ذلك أنني إكتشفت في العشر سنوات الفائتة قيمة وروعة هذه الإنسانة التي توازي قيمتها كفنانة، فلا أنسى وقوفها بجواري في أشد المحن التي مررت بها في حياتي، كما وقوفها بجوار العديدين، ولا أنسى سعادتها بحصولي على الجائزة الأولى من نقابة الصحفيين عن كتابي عنها، والذي صدر مع مجلة نصف الدنيا عام 2003. إنها حياة عصور الكناريا الذي يغرد ببهجة فنكتبه بحب لنتشارك أنت وأنا في حبها.
