ثلاث رسائل لطائف تدور حول مسألة نحوية فقهية هي قضية صوغ التعجب من صفات الله تعالى، والاستدلال على جواز ذلك، والرد على من منع منه.
أولاها: " مسألة ما أعظم الله" للإمام تقي الدين السبكي (756هـ)
والثانية: " رسالة في هل يقال: ما أعظم الله وأكرمه ونحو ذلك أم لا؟"
للحافظ صلاح الدين العلائي (761هـ).
والثالثة أرجوزة ظريفة باسم "مدح من فاه بـ: ما أعظم الله" للقاضي بدر الدين ابن شجرة الدمشقي (787هـ)؛ نظمها جواباً على سؤال ورد عليه حول المسألة المذكورة، شفعها مصنفها بأرجوزة تقريظ لها للعلامة ابن السبكي (771هـ).
تلا ذلك مجموع يسير جمع محققها فيه بعض الأحاديث النبوية الشريفة والآثار التي ورد فيها التعجب من صفات الله تعالى، زيادةً على ما استل به مؤلفو الرسائل الثلاث لأجل جواز مثل هذا التعجُّب، ثم خُتم العمل بزمرة من المسارد.
