سعى هذا الكتاب إلى تقديم مجموعة قراءات نقدية لنخبة من النصوص الإبداعية التي تنوعت بين نص رحلي وآخر شعري. فقسم إلى بابين الأول: باب الرحلة واختيرت رحلة "الرؤى والأمكنة" لزيد الشهيد، ورحلة "الهندوس يصعدون إلى السماء" لوارد بدر السالم، ورحلة"طواف بوذا" لباسم فرات.
والباب الثاني: باب الشعر ، وقدمت فيه قراءات نقدية للشاعر عبد الأمير الحصيري، وكاظم الحجاج، ومحمود عواد.
