المنكوح، رواية تعتمد تقنية الرسائل في عصر الانترنت والثورات التي تجتاح الشرق الأوسط، بين شاب أمازيغي؛ يعاني من كل مشاكل المجتمع الرأسمالي العالمي إضافة لمعاناته الهوياتية كإثنية داخل المجتمع المغاربي، بما تحمله كلمة إثنية من معاني الإبعاد، الفصل والاحتقار، وبين شاب سوري فشلت حياته أثناء تجنيده في جيش لم ولن ينتمي له عقائديا أو نفسيا، سجالات نفسية وتحليل اجتماعي واقتصادي، تطرح من خلاله النقوزي صورة واضحة عن التهميش، الإفقار وزيف المجتمع المتدين الذي يعانيه الشابان وأصدقاؤهم.
رواية في فصلين شديدي العمق والسلاسة اللغوية بأصوات رواة متعددين؛ ففي كل مرة ستجد خيطا جديدا يمكن أن تقرأ من خلاله بنية رواية فارقة.

ننام الإثنان هكذا، ما تبقّى من اللّيل. أستفيق عدة مرات في ذعر. أسمع أصواتًا غريبة وصفيرًا حادًّا يطنُّ في أذني. أرى كوابيس والكثير من الظلام.
هل الكلاب المذمومة تحلم! هل من لا ذاكرة ولا ماضي له يحلم. مرة حلمتُ أنّ الكلبة التي أحببتها، اغتصبها رجل يشبه عبجي وجلال وعمار، ربما مجيد. الكثير من الّذين يشبهون مجيد. قامت هي بالالتصاق به مستمتعةً كما تفعل الكلبات ورفضَتْ أن تطلقه. فعلق قضيبه داخلها. نقلوها إلى المستشفى فلم يستطيعوا استئصالها إلّا بعملية قيصرية.
ثم حلمتُ برجل اغتصب تمساحًا كبيرًا وعندما سألوه ما السبب قال: هذا التمساح يظنّ أنّه أقوى مني.
ثم حلمتُ أنّي عضضتُ مجموعة الذئاب الّتي هاجمتني واحدًا تلو الآخر. وزأرتُ فيها عاليًا. فهربَت بعيدًا جدًا، وصفّق لي الخراف والتيس الأسود وأبو مجيد ومجيد وعبجي وجلال وعمّار. صفّق لي الجميع.
