لا يسعني إلا أن أقول وبكل صدق ودون آية مجاملة أو محاباة , لما في شخصيته النادرة ومهابته التي قل مثيلها بين شيوخ العرب ووجهائهم , لما يمتلك من مهابة شخصية في شكله , وأفعاله وتصرفاته الكثيرة مع ملوك و رؤساء الدول العربية وزعماء القبائل العربية , سرعان ما يلفت النظر في هذه الصور فنتساءل عن هذه الشخصية بكل معنى الكلمة , ليس في الظاهر والشكل فحسب , بل في القالب و المضمون ،أما من حيث صورته الشخصية : فهو عريض المنكبين . . طويل القامة إذا نظرت إلى عينيه لا يمكنك أن تداني بريقاً ثاقباً يشع من عينيه بصراً وبصيرة , له عينا صقر , وفم ذئب , وجبهة ليث .$0إذا وقف بين الرجال كان أطولهم قامة . . وأقواهم شكيمة , وأفصحهم لساناً , وأحصفهم رأيا , وإذا تكلم في القوم سكتوا . . وإذا أشار نفذوا , لما له من بعد نظر , وبصيرة ثاقبة , يعطي الرجال حقها ومكانتها . . سرعان ما يهيمن على المجلس .. أي مجلس كان في البدو و الحضر . . يعرف من أين تؤكل الكتف ,كان لشجاعته لا يلتجأ إلى أسلوب الدفاع . .. بل هو قوى الهجوم , إذ انه سرعان ما يهيمن على عدوه وخصمه, فيغلبه مهما كانت شخصيته ومقامه, , كما انه لا يترك لأحد غيره سرعة المبادهة والمبادرة , وهنا تكمن قوته الشخصية وكأن الله سبحانه وتعالى منحه سراً في قوة شخصيته ومهابته وشكله وأفعاله وتصرفاته , ويشهد له بقوة شخصيته خصومه قبل أصدقائه. وينطبق عليه قول الشاعر البدوي إن غاب أخو شاهة ثلاثة أيام واويلنــــــــــــا وان حضر اخو شاهة يصير السبع واوي ألنا.
