إن هذا كتابٌ يخاطب الروح (ولا يهمل العقل)، هو كتابٌ يحوي أسماء علماء وفلاسفة وعظماء، لكنه موجّهٌ للوجدان، للكائن المتسائل، للإنسان، للفرد، رغم أنني أعترف بالمصدر الأكاديمي والعلمي، وهو ما يمكن أن أشبهه بالورود المحمية في حديقة قصر ملكي، إلا أنه كذلك أقدر الورود التي تنبت في أدنى الوادي، وعلى أدق أغصان الأشجار المهجورة، وبين أزقة الطرق الضيقة.
الحكمة لا تقتصر على فيلسوف أثيني أو شيخٍ وقور، بل تزدهر على لسان سيدة عجوز، وغانية غجرية، وكوميديان معاصر، نحن نتواجد في مدرسة مليئة بالعبر.
وفي هذا الكتاب مخاطب الكاتب قلب الإنسان قبل عقله، ويحاول بقدر المستطاع أن يصل إلى نقطة جامعة ما بين البساطة والشمولية، ما بين أن يكون الفكرة بسيطة عميقة وسهلة وأن تكون مكتملة مفصلة وشاملة.
يبدأ الكتاب بالسؤال هل للحياة معنى؟! وما هي الغاية منها؟! ثم يُفند فكرة الغاية منها من منظورات الحياة المختلفة، منظور الموروث الديني، والمدرسة العلمانية، والمنهج التكاملي، دون الوقوع في المفاضلة بين أيّ من تلك المنظورات. ثم ما معنى حياتي أنا؟! وما هو الأثر من ايجاد المعنى الشخصي على حياة الفرد؟ يقول المؤلف: ” عندما يضيع حضور الفرد فإن المعنى يضيع وجوديا مهما اتضحت المعاني نظريا، عندما يكون المعنى مجرد برمجة ايديلوجية، فإن الروح تتلاشى… هكذا عندما يختفي الفرد في اللاوعي، في الجموع والحشود، يختفي معه المعنى ” ؛ “ إن الحياة ليست شيئا افتراضيا، معاني الحياة تتجلى في كل لحظة في الواقع الذي نشاهده عيانا ونجربه روحا وكيانا ” ثم يجيب عن السؤال السابق في عدة صفحات بعيدة عن الفلسفة وأقرب كثيرا إلى الواقع.
