إن هذا الكتاب المحقق المانع، « نشر البنود على مراقي السعود » للشيخ « سيدي عبد الله بن الحاج إبراهيم العلوي الشنقيطي » هو شرح كبير جامع مفصل لنظم صاحبه المسمى « مراقي السعود لمبتغي الرقي والصعود » وهي منظومة في ألف بيت وبيت في علم أصول الفقه على مذهب السادة المالكية، جمع مادتها العلمية من عدد من مؤلفات هذا الفن وأهمها كتاب "جمع الجوامع" للسبكي و "التنقيح" مع شرحه كلاهما للقرافي، و "الآيات البينات" للعبادي، و "التلويح" لسعد الدين التفتازاني، و "الضياء اللامع" لابن حلولو، وغير ذلك. وقدطبع هذا الكتاب "نشر البنود" عدة طبعات وكانت شروحه كثيرة. ولأهمية كتاب « نشر البنود على مراقي السعود »، اعتنى به الأستاذ عدنان زهار وعمل على إخراجه في حلة جديدة محققة ومصححة، وخرّج الآيات القرآنية والأحاديث النبوية تخريجاً مختصراً، كما علق على بعض المباحث وقابل النسختين وميّز أبيات النظم تيسيراً لفهم الشرح.
