سَعْد بن أَبي وقاص مَالِك القرشي الزهري (23 ق هـ أو 27 ق هـ - 55 هـ / 595 أو 599 - 674م)، أحد العشرة المبشرين بالجنة، ومن السابقين الأولين إلى الإسلام، فقيل ثالت من أسلم وقيل السابع،[3] وهو أوّل من رمى بسهمٍ في سبيل الله،[1] وقال له النبي:[4] «ارم فداك أبي وأمي»، وهو من أخوال النبي،[1] وأحد الستة أصحاب الشورى الذين اختارهم عمر بن الخطاب ليختاروا الخليفة من بعده
