• ولد في المدينة المنورة بالمملكة العربية السعودية.
• حصل على البكالوريوس من كلية التجارة بجامعة الملك سعود بالرياض عام 1963.
• تلقى تعليمه العالي في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية فحصل على شهادة الماجستير في الإدارة من جامعة منيسوتا عام 1966، ثم حصل على شهادة الدكتوراه في الإدارة العامة من الجامعة الأمريكية بواشنطن في مطلع عام 1970.
• تدرج في السلك الأكاديمي فحصل على درجة أستاذ عام 1979.
• عمل عميداً لكلية التجارة , وكلية العلوم الاجتماعية , وكلية الدراسات العليا، مستشار في عدة هيئات علمية, وعضو في هيئة تحرير المجلة العربية للإدارة, ومجلة العلوم الاجتماعية.
• له العديد من المؤلفات والدواوين الشعرية.

لقد تآمر على الأمة عدة أطراف تعاونت فى محاولة للقضاء على وعيها بكل مكوناته الثقافية من لغة وتاريخ وفكر هذه الأطراف إما الاحتلال أو الصهاينة المتسلطين على الأمة والاثنان بمعاونة طغمة فاسدة سهلت لهم كل السبل لتجهيل الأمة وإفقثادها هويتها التى أوشكت على فقدها جملة وتفصيلاً فلم يبقى العلم الدينى إلا عند المتخصصين الذين وهبوا حياتهم لقضاياهم فلاهم باعوا عقيدتهم ولا استسلموا لتجريف ثوابتها ولا أنزووا كما انزوى علماء السلطة على كراسيهم فى معية السلطان الذى يعلمون أنه عرض زائل فلاهم وصلوا إلى ما وصل إليه ابن العلقمى من الثروة ونفاذ الكلمة ولا هم سينجون من مصيره وكنت أحسب أن سيبرز من بينهم من لديه القدرة على تحريك الماء الراكد فى النفوس فيصل إلى ما وصل إليه بائع الوزراء على كراسى العبيد ....... الخ
