كثر سؤال الناس عن زكاة الفطر، مع ارتفاع القمح إلى الثمن المذكور. فأفتيناهم بجواز إخراج المال والدقيق لمن كان متيسراً لديه. وقلنا : إن المال أفضل من الدقيق نظراً لحال الوقت ومصلحة الفقراء. وكان هذا في السنة الماضية. أما في هذه السنة التي انقطع فيها الدقيق بالكلية فأفتيناهم - لما تكرر السؤال - بإخراج المال. ووافقنا على ذلك بعض أهل العلم، فأفتى أهل بلده بجواز إخراج المال، فقامت قيامة طلبتها، وكادت السماوات يتفطرن، أو تنشق الأرض، أو تخر الجبال هدا، إن خالف المذهب وأفتى موافقة لنا بجواز إخراج المال!! فطلب مني أن أبين له مستند ما ذهبت إليه، وأذكر له ذلك مبسوطاً، فأجبته بهذا الجزء
