تأتي هذه الدراسة في محاولة لإلقاء الضوء بصورة محايدة وبعيدا عن حساسية الإنكار علي هذه المشكلة مع التطبيق علي احدي المدن كنموذج لواقع ظروف تلك الشريحة من العمالة، وذلك من خلال الوقوف علي تطور ظاهرة العمالة المنزلية في المجتمع السعودي ورصد التغيرات في حجمها وشكلها ومصادرها، وعرض لأسباب وآلية استقدام العمالة المنزلية بالمملكة، وخصائص القوة العاملة المنزلية بالمملكة، والآثار الايجابية والسلبية لاستقدام العمالة المنزلية بالمملكة، وأشكال الإساءة في حق عاملات المنازل بالمملكة، والإطار البنيوي والتشريعي لوجود العاملة المنزلية الوافدة بالمملكة، وآليات الرجوع المتاحة للقوة العاملة المنزلية بالمملكة، ثم عرض نموذج تطبيقي لاحدي المدن بالمملكة يعكس الجوانب السابقة في إطار إحصائي كمي يمكن الوقوف من خلاله علي أبعاد المشكلة، وأخيرا تحاول هذه الدراسة تقديم بعض الحلول والمقترحات لعلاج مشكلات العمالة المنزلية الوافدة للمملكة.
