كتاب كارلوس واغتيال السادات تأليف فاروق فهمى، إلييتش راميريز سانشيز والمعروف باسمه الحركي كارلوس ولقبته أجهزة الأمن والمخابرات كارلوس الثعلب، عاش كارلوس فترة من صباه في لندن قبل انتقاله إلى لبنان، مدفوعاً بتعاطفه الشديد مع الشعب الفلسطيني وقضيته وانضمامه هناك إلى صفوف الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين.
خلال نشاطه في صفوف الجبهة اضطلع كارلوس بمهمات قتالية عدة أشهرها احتجاز وزراء النفط في الدول الأعضاء في منظمة الدول المنتجة والمصدرة للنفط (أوبك) في السبعينات الماضية عام 1975 أثناء اجتماع لهم في فيينا والذي احتجز خلاله هو وخمسة آخرون 70 شخصاً بينهم 11 وزيراً للنفط واختطافهم تحت تهديد السلاح ونقلهم إلى الجزائر، علاوة على ارتكابه عمليات قتل أخرى عدة في أماكن مختلفة من العالم ومن ضمنها مجموعة ارتكبها في فرنسا التي تمكنت شرطتها السرية من إلقاء القبض عليه بالتعاون مع الحكومة السودانية ونقلته إلى فرنسا حيث جرت محاكمته بتهمة قتل شرطيين فرنسيين عام 1975م في باريس ويقضي فيها الآن حكمه المؤبد. قام بالتحضير لعمليات ضد الإمبريالية والصهيونية ومجموعة الرئيس المصري أنور السادات.
